MY LIFE!So, let me catch ya'll up!
Roughly 2 1/2 years ago I, at the last minute, decided to apply to law school. Most law school start their program in the fall, but there was one, very small, law school in orange county that allowed students to start in January. I applied, after attending an open house, and was accepted within 3 weeks of applying. Shortly thereafter, in January 2004, I began this looooooong journey to see my dreams come true. It's been an amazing experience! Now, in about 6 weeks, I'll be graduating from Law School! I can hardly believe it. Due to the other changes in my life, I'll be postponing the bar until February 2007...I hope the extra time will help!
A little later in 2004 I met Brett, the man of my dreams! Our love story is long and crazy, so I'll spare you all the details! However, we spent many months chatting online, emailing, writing, talking and getting to know each other. He was a big distraction from school, but also a very welcomed distraction.
Brett is currently an officer in the US Army, he's an Apache Pilot! He is very dedicated to his job and loves to fly. He also has several other major accomplishments in his life, ones that he doesn't like me to brag about....but let's just say, he's a 2x Olympian (I'm sure if you were to visit our house and go into our guest room, the walls would also give him away, so I guess I'm safe!). I have never met a man that is so completely supportive of me and my dreams. He is absolutely an amazing man and I truly feel like the luckiest girl in the world!
In March 2005, Brett and I went to Italy. We spent a couple of days in Venice and a couple of days in Rome. It was a great time and helped us fall in love. Through the distance we continued to truly get to know one another and fall head over heels in love. In October, Brett propsed and the rest is history.
So, that leads to now! I am 7 weeks away from being done with finals, 9 weeks away from graduating from law school and 10 weeks away from getting married and moving to Texas! Life is crazy, but I wouldn't have it any other way!
